Historic Trains in Colorado
In this top photo, a steam crane cleans up after a small mishap at Greeley. The date was in the late 1950's. The small wreck took down the standpipe, shown in the foreground.

One of the final trains turns on the wye of the Buckeye branch north of Ft. Collins. The track here was removed in 1965. The products hauled here were primarily agricultural, sugar beets, sheep and cattle. In earlier days, there was some petroleum also hauled from the Orcutt oil field.
