Durango
and Silverton Narrow Gauge Photos From December, 1999. These photos are both taken by me
near Rockwood, Colorado. The snow is light this year, normally there would be snow on the
ground at this location.
Rockwood is
about 15 miles from Durango, not terribly far from the Purgatory Ski Resort. All the snow
at Purgatory for Christmas is man-made this year.
